Thing 1 and Thing 2

I finally finished the girls Halloween costumes.
Yup, Thing 1 and Thing 2.
I spiced it up a bit and made it girlie for my little princesses.
Of course I added a tutu.
These are the first bloomers I ever made. I actually got that material for a Christmas outfit (pics coming soon) but thought it would be perfect for this too!
Aunt Meme made the shirts for them. She has the tools for that kind of stuff and knows how to use them!
Thing 2 is Sophie since she was born second but only by three minutes.
So of course Al is Thing 1. She didn't mind wearing the bow.
Sophie eventually took the bow off Aleah. The only picture I could get of Sk with the bow was when I asked her to hold it on her head for just a second. Haha!
After this picture below was taken Sk took the bow off Al. They are probably not going to wear them on Halloween.
I love these costumes. I am so proud that I made them. I will have lots more pics to post after Halloween. I am so excited about taking the girls trick or treating for the first time!

  1. Very Cute! I love the bows!!! I am being a slacker. I have yet to sew Ethan's Sumo wresting butt thingy and we caved and bought korbin an Iron man costume he will not wear. LOL I did crochet a head piece for ethan that looks like sumo hair and hopefully the butt covering won't be difficult. If I can't get Korbin to wear the costume I am going to dress him as Russell from up...should be easy to whip up a boy scout shirt and tie ballons to his backpack. can't wait to see their christmas outfits!

  2. Thank you! The bows were super easy!!! Why won't Korbin wear his costume? Didn't you say he picked it out? LOL maybe he will wear it. I like your other idea though. I love that movie so much. I can't wait to see E's costume. He's is such a chunk. I will try to get their Christmas outfits done soon. They are mostly finished I just have to put buttons on them. I have a feeling they are going to have a Christmas outfit for everyday in December lol. I love every Christmas material I see haha!

  3. He was all excited to see the suit in the package but once we got it out and tried to put it on him he freaked out. Everyday i ask him eif he will wear his suit (I even try to bribe him with early candy) and he crys at the sight of it. He did pick it out so I have no idea why he is so scared of it. i really love the Russell idea and I heart that movie. I cry my eyes out everytime I watch it...it is so sweet. I am glad I don't have girls otherwise i would be in the same boat as you with the christmas fabric. LOL
