Tiny Dancers

Here's a couple of videos of the girls dancing. The first one is Sophie. Be prepared to laugh until you cry. Not only is it funny it's completely adorable. The second one is Aleah dancing to "Head, Shoulders, knees, and toes". I am so impressed by her because she is copying the kids on the TV that are doing it. She does a darn good job for a one year old....

My New Hobby

My sis in law Melanie from pickledblu taught me how to make pillowcase dresses. First, she taught me to sew on a sewing machine. Haha! I mean I have done it before with my Aunt Linda but it was so long ago. I am so excited about these dresses. I have already made the girls each two. They are completely adorable.

My little Helper.
The first dress. I made two of course.

My first little model.

Isn't she a cutie?

The second set of dresses.

My second little model.
I can't wait to make some more. Al and Sk are gonna have a closet full of dresses. As if they don't already have so, so many clothes. Ha! I will soon have some of these cute homemade dresses for sell. So if you have or no anyone who has a little girl hit me up!

Light A Candle

Light a candle, it'll help to remind you
Of your time together on earth,
and as the flame flickers, remember
Her kindness, her goodness, her worth.
So, glow little candle, that briefly,
You'll know that her memory can't die,
As you see her sweet face in the glowing,
Shed a tear, say a prayer, then goodbye.

I will always think of "Nan" when I light a candle because every time I came  to her house she had a candle lit in every room. It always smelled so nice. My wonderful mother in law will be missed dearly. She had such a soft sweet voice that I've had on my mind lately. I feel like I can still hear her talking to us. This all just seems so unreal. Please pray for our family. I can't stand to see my loved ones hurting. I can't stand to have a hurt heart either.

Aunt B's Moving Away

The time has come that my great friend Brittany is moving away. I am sad she is leaving but at the same time I am really happy for her. She is going to get her grown up job since she has had her degree for a couple of years now, haha! She is going back to her stomping grounds, Anniston, AL. I am so proud of her. She's going home to be with her sweet mama and her grandparents. They all need her right now, so I must let her go. She's done her job here in Auburn. She's been there for me all the times I needed her. She is such a good wonderful friend. She will most definitely be missed by many! Did I mention what a wonderful aunt she is to Al and Sk? She has loved those babies from the minute (literally) they were born. They love her too! I look forward to taking the girls up to go see her and her family too.  I also look forward to her coming back down here to visit. Football season will be great this year since neither of us will be working in a restaurant and we can actually go tailgating, maybe even a game. I am so going to miss my going out partner. I don't really go out much anymore and it's looking like it will be even less now. Brittany was the one I always called on when I needed to get out. Pockets and Fat Daddy's are probably going to miss her as much as I am, haha! I could go on and on about Brittany and the times we've had but I am going to keep this short and sweet. So here's to my girl Brittany, I will miss you and I love you girl!

I actually wrote this on July 21st and I am just now getting a chance to post. Sorry for the delay!

Umm Excuse Me? Where Did My Babies Go?

Seriously what happened to my tiny babies? Last year at this time my babies where so tiny. They ate every two hours. They had me up at all hours of the night. In ways they were much easier. It was easier to pick them both up because they weighed 1/5th of what they do now. It was easier for me to get things done because they slept a lot more and I could just set them down in their bouncy seats or pack-n-play. They didn't move around like they do now that's for sure. Now I am constantly saying no and chasing them around. At least now they sleep through the night. Even though I feel like they are a lot harder to take care of now that they are mobile and into EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING, I wouldn't change them for the world. They are so much fun! Everyday I get so excited seeing all the new things they can do. They never cease to amaze me. They are so eager to learn. I love teach them. There is no better reward than seeing them do something new. I am so thankful for them! As much as they drive me crazy at times, I would never change anything about this life! They make me so happy. Even though I miss those tiny little newborns. At times I even miss being pregnant and their little kicks and hiccups. I wouldn't change this for anything! Just today Sophie sat in the floor for about 10 minutes stacking blocks and, when we were on the way to the grocery store she was turning the pages in her book and rambling as if she were actually reading. Aleah has a new thing where she stamps her feet during "If your happy and you know it". She used to clap the whole time and now she stamps her feet! It's too cute!  I am so very proud of them! Yeah I miss those babies but this whole toddler thing is so much fun! Here are a couple of pics of them from last year and a couple of pics of them from today:

Jack's 3rd Birthday

Our little Jack is growing up to be such a big boy. He even got to drink water out of a big boy cup on his birthday! I am in total disbelief that he turned 3. I guess it's true what they say, time flies when you're having fun!
Meme planned an awesome birthday party for Jack if I do say so myself. It was called "Camp run-a-muk"! There were smores, swimming, trail mix, a pinata and more! It was such an awesome party for such an awesome 3 year old little boy!
Jack with his new bike!
Look at this awesome cake!
So detailed!
Even the inside of the cake is awesome!

Happy Campers!
Melanie is so artistic! She did such an awesome job on this party!

Sk and her sucker!
My poor babies were long over due for a nap!
What kind of party would it be without a pinata!

What a great party! I still can't get over Jack turning 3! He is growing up too fast! I am so happy we got to spend time with Jack and the whole family last week. It was a much needed vacation for all of us. Now I just need a vacation minus the babies. If only.....
