To Meme's House We Go

The girls and I went to stay with Melanie, Jack and Dan for a few days at the first of this month.
It was actually more than just a visit. I came to help Mel sew.
She is taking a part in a Harvest Market at Jack's preschool. So I came to help her make some things.
I will post pics of some cute things we made soon.
In the mean time, enjoy these cuties having fun at their Aunt Meme and Uncle Dan's house, playing with their cousin Jack's toys.
I am thinking that Santa Clause needs to bring my babies this little slide and swing for Christmas. They loved it!
They also really liked playing with Jack's monster trucks. Who's says trucks are just for boys?
Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the girls playing with their cousin Jack. By the time Jack and Mel got home at night it was crazy time. Trying to get dinner ready and 3 little ones fed and bathed and put to bed is hard work.  I just don't know how Melanie has time to do all that she does.

Thing 1 and Thing 2

I finally finished the girls Halloween costumes.
Yup, Thing 1 and Thing 2.
I spiced it up a bit and made it girlie for my little princesses.
Of course I added a tutu.
These are the first bloomers I ever made. I actually got that material for a Christmas outfit (pics coming soon) but thought it would be perfect for this too!
Aunt Meme made the shirts for them. She has the tools for that kind of stuff and knows how to use them!
Thing 2 is Sophie since she was born second but only by three minutes.
So of course Al is Thing 1. She didn't mind wearing the bow.
Sophie eventually took the bow off Aleah. The only picture I could get of Sk with the bow was when I asked her to hold it on her head for just a second. Haha!
After this picture below was taken Sk took the bow off Al. They are probably not going to wear them on Halloween.
I love these costumes. I am so proud that I made them. I will have lots more pics to post after Halloween. I am so excited about taking the girls trick or treating for the first time!

Candy Corn Tutu

I just couldn't resist making another tutu for the girls since Hobby Lobby had tulle on sale.
I love making tutus! There's nothing cuter than a baby girl in only her tutu.
Well there is one thing cuter, two baby girls wearing only their tutus!
I love these colors because the look like candy corn which happens to be one of my favorite things about Halloween.

They even wore them to the park. This weather here has been ridiculous. It was actually pretty hot that day.

I love every thing about their sweet little outfits. They look so girlie with their little tutus and sweet little gold shoes!

Halloween Dresses

I am so so proud of these precious Halloween dresses I made for the girls!
I did one with a striped ribbon and one with a polka dot ribbon. I love them both!

The best part is I had a friend buy one from me for her little girl! I did hers with the dot ribbon!

The girls both seemed to really like them! They kept looking down at them and touching the face.

Even their teachers at CDO (childrens day out) liked them, which makes me very happy!

I am very proud of the way these dresses turned out!

The first dresses I made

I decided to put a letter on the first pillowcase dresses I made for Al And Sk.

I know it's not perfect but it was my first try.

I think I did pretty darn good for my first try.

I think these dresses are just completely adorable!

Twinsies!

Josh picked out this polka dot fabric. He did such a good job.

I made little ruffle pants to go under the dresses!

Look at this cute little button!

 How cute is this outfit?

My first Tutu

One of my very best friends, Heather, is getting ready for her precious baby boy's first birthday. She is doing a baby Mickey Mouse party for him since he loves Mickey Mouse. She printed out a couple of iron on Mickey's with a few of the kids names (Rush's bffs haha!), to iron on t-shirts.  So of course she gave me one for Al and Sk. So I decided to make a couple of tutus for the girls to wear with the shirts to make it look a little more girlie. I was telling Heather that's what I was going to do and she loved the idea and asked me to make her boyfriend's little girls one too. He has to precious little girls too. Heather is excited about all the cute pictures we are going to take of Rush with his pretty girlfriends.

I never realized how easy making a tutu would be.

Oh and it was so cheap for the tulle.

You just can't get any cuter than that^.

Don't be sad because I only have pictures of Sk in the tutu. You will get to see Al in my next post being my little model. I had them both outside in different outfits haha!
